Uaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh..
Sorry, now I've to let off steam as well. Just made the mistake of watching the second half France-Spain. Or better: I tried to watch. Because for some stupid reason they refused to close the door so the sunlight shone right to the screen. I mean, if you really have to leave the door open, then get the f#&%#@ a curtain. That problem shortly accured last week ago, how stupid are you!? So as you see, I'd already been pretty annoyed by that fact and then.. Well am I blinded by the light, or blinded by half a pint of beer, but pleaaaase tell me: Was that freekick preceding the 2:1 really a freekick? The commentator said Puyol must be happy it was just yellow and not red. Ehm? In my opinion that was not yellow, that wasn't even a foul, or maybe a foul by Henry for running into Puyol. Is there anyone at the moment obsessed with supposed ellbowing? (Compare Holland-Portugal.) And if you then concede such a stupid goal after such a stupid decicion six minutes before the end!? I really didn't begrudge France the successes of 1998 and 2000 because they've never won anything before but this now.. For this worldcup they range on place three of the teams I don't want to win (after Germany and Italy). In my opinion Brazil shouldn't win either, they have already 5 titles, plus, how can you play such mediocre soccer with such fabulous players? Who's left then? Right now I've the deep feeling that this tournament is developping into a very depressing direction.. Please feel free to tell me that it was a freekick and the decision was correct then I can feel a bit better - although the goal was still stupid. OK, and no I've vented enough (how manage those people in the Edmonton Journals' venting section with only one or two sentences???) I've got to get some work done and hope to be back later (maybe with another sweet animal story..)
PS: I've already found my personal World Champion. And the winner iiiiiiiiis:

I sent her the link to that blog yesterday night and when I checked my mails today morning I had already received an answer - she read the whole blog at once! Congratulation's Manu! You know, I don't want to be mean but that was a true German Blitz combined with an incredible amount of endurance (or shall I say fighting spririt? - "teutscher Kampfgeist"). I can only applaud. It's a relief you only love Austria but weren't born here. Because if you were, I would fear we might try to export you to Germany and start a new attempt to conquer the world.. (Sorry couldn't help it..)

It was just exciting and interesting reading your blog. I couldn't finish it...and by the way I was at work too..*gg*, didn't have a lot to do and tried to mark time :-)("Zeit tot schlagen? *kill time :-)*nein das heisst anders, aber keine Ahnung wie)
And now its time to go to beddybyes. ( I love this expression as well as the action *g* "In die Heia gehen":-))because it is 00:44 now and a long boring morning at work is waiting for me.
I hope my English is not too bad...I haven't used and practice it, since I left university...I know why I do not become a teacher for English and Spanish, it's hopeless. *gggg*
Best wishes
Manu
