OK people - I'm off for the airport. My flight leaves in 3 hours. And in about 23 hours hopefully I'll be landing in Munich. I'm so much looking forward to see and hug you all (well not all but some)!

I believe I've never mentioned it but during the summer I was amazed about how many pregnant women I saw in Edmonton. It seemed to me they were everywhere. (Lucka and I had quite some fun counting them! :-) Well, now it is official: "We're a baby boomtown" is the headline of today's Edmonton Journal. The first two sentences: "The tsunami has arrived. Babies are flooding into Edmonton...". (Hmm I guess it's pretty obvious now what's the preferred way of Canadians to keep themselves warm during the long winters..)

.. wird meine Winterjacke. Nach der Mittwochsparty, als ich nach Hause gehen wollte, war sie nicht mehr da. Bis jetzt hab ich noch nichts gehoert, was mich allmaehlich zweifeln laesst, dass wirklich nur jemand besoffen war und sie einfach mitnahm - in welchem Fall ich erwarten wuerde dass sich selbiger am naechsten Tage bei den Gastgebern meldete. Grrrr! Meine schoene, erst 11 Monate alte Jacke! Ausserdem futsch: Meine Handschuhe, meine Tirol-Haube, mein Handy. Vorhanden: Der Schal (gestern beim Re-check in dem Haus am Boden gefunden). Immerhin war ich vorsichtig genug, Schluessel und Geldtasche nicht drin zu lassen. Zum Glueck hat es im Moment keine -30 sondern nur -3. Trotzdem. Grrr. Muubuu. This sucks!
