Ok, this now is in English in the hope that at least one of the people these lines are aimed to reads them and if not, I don't care either, at least I'll have let off steam.

I was searching for videos of yesterday's 1:1 to look into some scenes once more. And what do I read there?! Polish fans shout "cheating" and rant something about a conspiracy against their country. That Austria bought Webb. That the UEFA wanted Austria to have a point so not both hosts are out. Etc, etc..

Excuse me!?

Dear Polish fans with brain (which are most of you),

Please open your eyes and watch the match. (I won't include a video here because UEFA keeps taking them off youtube, but here is a link to the sports page sportizo.com):

• In my opinion the Polish goal was off-side. At the very moment of the pass Guerrero was off-side. Just one step. But one step is still off side.

• After half time Ivanschitz was held back in the penalty area. If he was a clever player, he would have fallen rightaway and it would have been penalty. This way, it's a trickier decision. Still, I think if there had been a penalty call Poland could not have complained.

• As to the last scene: Sorry guys, but this was a penalty. Sure, not all referees call it, but watch any football match and you'll see that holding opponents back on they jerseys is a foul and that such situations are penalised most of the time and not only in the penalty area.

In a nutshell: You scored a debatable goal, we scored a debatable goal. In the end the result was unfortunate for you and fortunate for us. But, seriously, from a sports perspective, didn't we at least deserve a draw?

Just think about it, you millions of Polish fans who have a brain!

And to the small minority who obviously has no brain: shame on you! When looking on youtube I stumbled over countless videos that insult referee Howard Webb, for example as corrupt fag (what the one has to do with the other is beyond me) or another one that again depicts him as corrupt and gay, and as a Nazi and sodomite, and spreads images of how he should be killed. Now I'm not looking further into this topic because I'm already ready to puke.

You violent homophobic chauvinist assholes, you're a disgrace for football, you're a disgrace for Poland!

Österreich gegen Polen 1:1 - Da gibt's nicht viel dazu zu sagen - vor allem nicht mehr um 2 Uhr in der früh. Im Grunde sollten wir jetzt mit 4 Punkten dastehen, nicht weil wir so super sind sondern weil wir's von den Spielverläufen verdient gehabt hätten. So ist es jetzt halt einer - genial.

Und einer war genial. Ivica Vastic. lfmeter in der 92. Minute. Eiskalt verwandelt. Beim Tor und nach dem Schlusspfiff verwandelte sich die Maria-Theresien-Straße in ein Tollhaus:



Bitte, man muss sich das einmal vor Augen halten. Vastic, geboren im September 1969, 38 Jahre alt, der Oldie der EM.. Spielt zwei Jahre nicht mehr in der Nationalmannschaft und wird jetzt als Joker nachnominiert, weil er so eine tolle Saison spielte - und die Öffentlichkeit / Medien ihn forderten.

Erinnern wir uns zurück an Österreichs letzten Auftritt bei einem Fußball-Großereignis. WM 1998 in Frankreich. 10 Jahre ist es her! Zweites Gruppenspiel: Österreich die bessere Mannschaft gegen Chile aber durch ein Freistoß-Tor (nach umstrittenem Foul) 0:1 hinten. Und dann passierte das..
