Irony of the Day
I heard this yesterday morning on CBC radio:
"It's Wednesday, June 27th. Tony Blair steps down as the prime minister of Britain today and is expected to take up a new post as a multinational peace envoy to the middle east. Currently it's a move that finally lets Tony Blair enjoy the fruits of the war he worked so hard on." (cbc.ca/thecurrent)
As a result of the antenna of my radio being broken I don't get FM (all the rock stations etc) but only AM channels. The best choice is CBC, so I'm listening to the news every morning during breakfast. The best part (unfortunately I always only get the fist 15 or so minutes of it because I have to leave for work then) is "The Current", which features short info-parts and discussions on various current topics. The best of it is also available online as podcast. Check it out if you want..
